Town Camp Designs is a collection of products created by Ewyenper Atwatye, Tangentyere Artists and Yarrenyty Arltere Artists. We are a 100% Aboriginal owned and run art centre. All sales directly support the artists, with all profit going towards artists fees and future projects.

Community Centre Division has collaborated with Town Campers to create a book that not only shares culture but also expresses the importance of creating strong family connections through customs and traditions.
For those who don’t know Town Camps are little communities of families across Alice Springs, these families live here, they learn culture here and they get to experience life here.
Mparntwe / Alice Springs has a total of 18 Town Camps within the 148 KM radius. Tangentyere Council established the governing body in the 1970s and has continued to promote these strong voices in these communities.
In 2019 there were between 1,600 and 2,000 people were living in town camps permanently, many received visitors from remote communities and other have multiple people staying in one house.
Regardless of issues and struggles that may arise, these members in the Town Camps are still strong, united and always authentically themselves.
